Scope

What is included

  • Analysis

    Build, runtime and direct dependencies of your application.

  • Dockerfile

    Multi-stage build, hardened base image, running as non-root.

  • Build pipeline

    In your existing CI, such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions, pushing to a registry.

  • Configuration

    Via environment variables, ConfigMaps and secrets – as far as your application supports it without code changes.

  • Deployment included

    GitOps, ingress, secrets, observability and production check as in the Deployment package.

  • Data transfer

    One-off dump and restore of one database with standard tools.

Outcome, format and prerequisites

  • Outcome: your application runs containerised and production-ready on kloudease
  • Dockerfile and build pipeline in your repository, versioned image in the registry
  • Starting point: source code and a reproducible build, Linux runtime (e.g. Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, Go, PHP)
  • Prerequisite: a booked kloudease platform and a workload that meets the criteria below
  • Your part: access to source code and build, and a contact person from your development team
  • Price: 10,900 € per workload – fixed price, excl. VAT.
All service packages

What your workload needs to bring

A package covers exactly one workload: an independently deployable application including its direct dependencies such as a database or cache. Both must be cloud-native and mappable to the kloudease scope. We check this before you order in a free readiness check. A booked kloudease platform is always required.

  • Runs on Linux as a container – without privileged rights, host network or node access

  • State lives in kloudease managed services or persistent volumes, not in the container

  • Database, cache and similar are available as a kloudease managed service or reachable externally

  • Configuration via environment variables and secrets, logs to stdout

  • Only standard Kubernetes resources – no custom operators, CRDs or cluster-wide resources

  • Resource needs fit the node limits of your tier

Scope boundaries: when another package fits

Not included: Changes to application code to make it cloud-native (such as local session state or hard-wired configuration), splitting a monolith, framework upgrades, Windows applications, building a CI/CD platform, data migration beyond dump and restore, and further workloads.
