1 · Build the image
Your CI pipeline builds versioned container images and pushes them to your registry.
2 · Describe it in Git
The Helm chart or manifests live in the Git repository – that is the desired state.
3 · Flux syncs
GitOps with Flux brings every change into the cluster, traceable and repeatable.
4 · Live with TLS and DNS
Traefik, cert-manager and ExternalDNS take care of routing, certificates and DNS records – logs and metrics end up in Grafana and Loki automatically.

What your software should bring
The closer your application is to these points, the more stable it runs – and the easier SREaaS becomes later:
- Compatible with the 12-factor principles
- Versioned images – no “latest”
- Liveness and readiness probes
- Defined resource requests and limits, HPA-ready deployments
- Prometheus-compatible metrics endpoints and structured logs, ideally JSON
- Deployment via Helm chart with rollback
